First, data privacy. In Québec, Law 25 strictly governs the handling of personal information, and children’s data — especially that of vulnerable children — calls for maximum caution. Before adopting a tool, the teacher must verify where data is stored and who can access it. No identifying information about a student should be entered into a consumer tool not approved by the school service centre.
